Nico is a second-year dental student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded the prestigious Dean's Scholarship valued at $160,000—the largest offered by the school. He was accepted into all eight dental schools he interviewed at, including scholarship offers from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
Kathleen is a second-year dental student at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD). She received acceptance offers from seven dental schools, including a $40,000 Dean's Scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in addition to multiple merit scholarships at UMSOD.
Our journey to dental school was anything but easy. Coming from immigrant families with no background in healthcare, we faced the daunting challenge of navigating the dental school application with little to no guidance.
Seeing the lack of affordable and accessible resources for aspiring dental students, we felt compelled to take action. That’s why we created Dent Edge—a comprehensive 28-day course designed to break down the entire application process step by step. Through 65 videos, 27 tasks, and countless support documents we made sure to cover every aspect of the application. Our mission is to bridge the gap and make dental school achievable for everyone, no matter their background.
